On Saturday, November 12, the PCHS Play Production team performed Long Tall Lester at the Blue and Gold Play Production Festival in North Platte.  Ten teams competed, consisting of three Class A teams, one Class B team, two Class C2 teams (including PCHS), three Class D1 teams, and one Class D2 team.

Perkins County placed 7th.  Three of the teams placing higher than us were Class A and B schools.  We placed higher than one of the Class A schools and the other Class C2 school.  We couldn't be more proud of the students, as for many of them, it was their first time on stage in a competition situation.

Our behind-the-scenes people did a tremendous job doing make-up and running the sound and lights!

We received great feedback from the judges, and we are ready to polish and fine-tune our production to make the public performance a great one.

The following students received Actor Awards for their performances on Saturday:
  • Beau Wood
  • Claire Maaliao
  • Ian Sihm
  • Jacob Woodmancy

Great job, cast and crew!

We hope to see everyone on November 20 at 6:00 p.m.  Admission is a free-will donation, and we will be serving desserts after the show!
