The Jr. High Student Council is asking for help in reloading our local food pantry.  The pantry is bare and with winter fast approaching it needs stockpiled for our community families in need.  We are challenging each class to donate food and monetary gifts and NOT without reward.

Mr. Friedel has challenged all classes to compete. There will be a reward for the elementary and the Jr./Sr. High classes who donate the most ITEMS per class.  *This year's reward will be an all-class hour off 8th period to go to the gym and "play" for the hour. The winning class can pick what game they would like to play.

Each item must be compliant with the expiration date and if money is donated, each $1.00 counts as an item.

Drop boxes for each class will be in the following classrooms:

  • Kindergarten-Mrs.Fisher
  • 1st Grade-Mrs. McCormick
  • 2nd Grade-Mrs. Waitley
  • 3rd Grade-Mrs. Richmond
  • 4th Grade-Mr. Snyder
  • 5th Grade-Mrs. Swanebeck
  • 6th Grade-Mr. Hite
  • 7th Grade-Mr. Kemling
  • 8th Grade-Mrs. Hite
  • 9th Grade-Mrs. Baumfalk
  • 10th Grade-Mrs. Bishop
  • 11th Grade-Mrs. Putnam
  • 12th Grade-Mr. Steffen

The dates for the competition will be October 16-23.  During Parent-Teacher Conferences next week it would be a GREAT time to bring items to your student's classroom to help out!

Good Luck!
