JAG Career Association officers, Jordin, Shyne, and Karina along with Career Specialist Ms. Quinn attended the JAG Leadership Development Conference at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. It was an opportunity to connect with peers from across the state, strengthen leadership skills, and gain valuable insights to help prepare for future success.
The day included a keynote address from Don Eckles, co-founder and Chairman of Scooter's Coffee, and breakout sessions focused on developing new skills and building confidence as future leaders.

PCS 2nd graders visited the Perkins County Museum this morning! Students especially got a kick out of seeing the old jail cell once used to hold Perkins County criminals.
Thankfully, these well-behaved students gave museum staff no reason to put the jail cell back into service! 😉

Science Meets Hollywood!
Students have been reviewing forces and Newton’s Three Laws of Motion. To kick off class, they watched movie trailers for “Gravity” and “The Garfield Movie.” Students then debated whether the events depicted could actually happen or were scientifically inaccurate, using Newton’s Laws to support their arguments.
