Old Kitchen ➡️ Mr. Burge's Ag Room Demo work has started in the old kitchen. This area is being remodeled and repurposed for Mr. Burge's Ag Room (+ easy access to Animal Learning Lab), restrooms, storage and a space for Mrs. Lehl to continue her instrument repair work.

Ag Room + Shop Update: Items are being moved to prep for fresh coats of paint in Mrs. Balcom's Room (formerly Mr. Babbitt's Room) as well as the welding area and wood shop. #plainsmenpride

Pressbox Update: ✔️new, reinforced box ✔️additional windows ✔️platform + metal rails The addition of a Hudl Focus camera for streaming/filming, will free up all sorts of space. The metal railing was repurposed from the Pritchett Gym deck. It adds extra safety for those up top.

PCS is proud to announce the addition of the JAG Nebraska program to our curriculum. JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) is a for-credit elective designed to help students overcome challenges and achieve personal and career success after high school. Through project-based learning, mentorship and career exploration, JAG empowers students to build essential life and professional skills. Students in grades 7–12 will have the opportunity to take JAG classes. This initiative, supported by United Way of the Midlands, aligns with our commitment to providing every student with opportunities to thrive academically and personally. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, The Archway in Kearney, NE, is hosting a festival called “The Big 250.” This collage, created by Lauren Bishop during her Independent Art class this past school year, was selected for their Americana art exhibition. It will be on display at The Archway between June 13-21, 2026. Author Description: “The idea for this piece was to capture the Statue of Liberty through many different lenses, time periods, and mediums. It was also important to me to incorporate the American Flag and Declaration of Independence into the collage to signify the roots of liberty in our country. The photos used, while most real life photography, also were meant to symbolize the abstract history of the country and all Lady Liberty has seen happen from her bay.” - Lauren Bishop Independent Art is offered to PCS high school students by Mr. Tristan Stephenson. One of the course requirements for students is to enter a piece of their artwork in a contest or show. 🇺🇸 #SupportTheArts #USA
