Plant Science:
Mr. Babbitt's students just released 1500 lady bugs into the greenhouse for preventative IPM (Integrated Pest Management) to control aphids and white fly. The cool weather will allow the predators to hunt for a couple of days before escaping into the wild.

4th Grade Science:
Students are wrapping up their unit on sound and communication. They learned about binary codes. They encoded messages on their iPads, transferred it to paper, changed it to a binary, came up with representations for the number 1 and 0 that they could send *silently* across the room to be entered and decoded on their peers' iPads.
It was a wonderful evening at our PreK Spring Program! It was incredible to see the growth, confidence and joy of our youngest learners shining on the stage. A huge thank you to Miss Brandie, Ms. Janae, and Ms. Katelyn for their hard work and creativity in putting together such a special program. We are also grateful for the continued support from our families and community members; your presence and encouragement make all the difference!
