Mrs. Armstrong’s students have been reading about biometrics. Today they held a mini debate to address varying positions regarding the help/harm of biometric data.

The Girls JV and Boys JV and V teams picked up wins over Holyoke. The Girls V battled but came up 4 pts. short. All of the Plainsmen are back in action on Thursday against Sedgwick Co. in Ovid, CO.

In addition, Jayson Bishop is a member of the NASB Legislative Committee.

Raegan, Finn, Christian, Drew, and Magnus represented Perkins County Schools at Saturday's North Platte Middle School Honor Band. The Honor Band included students from 15 area junior high schools.

Hosting events, like the 2nd Rd. of the SPVA Basketball Tournament last night, is an honor and a lot of fun. That said, it wouldn’t be possible without the efforts of many people, including our maintenance staff. Kelly, Rick and Connor were cleaning the gym this morning — long before students arrived. Physics: Civil Engineering Unit
Students designed arch bridges using a limited supply of cardstock and masking tape. Students tested the bridges to see how they held up under compression forces. Preston’s supported the most at 6,900 grams! Myles’s was 2nd with 4,500 grams.
