Chemistry:
Students made super-saturated solutions using borax and hot water. Then, they dipped pipe cleaners in them and allowed crystals to form. The end result is sparkly, do-it-yourself ornaments.

First grade students used drama in feelings charades followed up by holiday calm breathing exercises.

Miss Snogren’s students are reviewing and solving math clues to eliminate suspects so they can figure out where the stolen presents were taken.

5th Grade Reading:
Mrs. McCord's and Mrs. Gloy's students celebrated the end of "Unit 3: Poetry" with a Poetry Cafe. Students wrote their own poems and shared them with the class. They also enjoyed some hot chocolate and donuts! @Amplify #CKLA

State Mock Trial (Day #1):
PCS played against Omaha Skutt in Rd. 1 and Wayne in Rd. 2. Results are still pending.

The PCS JH GBB went 1-1 on the night against Chase County. The PCS B Team worked hard but lost. The PCS A Team won 29-20.

Kindergarten Science:
Students spent time with 5 senses culminating rotations. They used their senses to smell, taste, see, hear and touch to make observations about items.

Students are finishing up their signs made out reclaimed pallet wood.

After studying foods the different countries have to trade on the world market, the focus has shifted to countries that have limited food commodities to trade and how that affects their economies.
