Students’ bell ringer included mass/mol/molecule conversions using the compound NaCl (salt). Afterwards, Principal Sudbeck, a former science teacher, had the opportunity to visit with students about the emotional and psychological benefits associated with the salt lamps in her office.

7th Grade Exploratory Agriculture:
Mrs. Balcom's students are learning leadership skills and how to conduct a meeting using parliamentary procedure. There have been some lively debates regarding a multitude of topics - all being handled with fairness and offering a way for every voice to be heard.

4th Grade Math:
Students are using the "Standard Algorithm" method to factor numbers and solve multiplication problems on their wipe boards. Mrs. Reimers can move around the room to provide individual help while also writing on her iPad, which displays her work on the front board for everyone to see. Today's lesson includes a great combination of hands-on learning, technology and teacher support!
