The grassy area behind the Jr/Sr HS is flagged and staked in prep for construction of the Animal Learning Lab. The FFA is helping fund this project with money raised from the previous two years’ Hired Hand Auctions. #CTE

2nd Grade ELA:
Part of the #CKLA Knowledge series includes a “Cycles in Nature and Insects” unit. Students are anxiously keeping tabs on the caterpillars going through metamorphosis to turn into butterflies. @Amplify
Preschool students are learning about the life cycle of a plant. Today they planted seeds and will keep observations of what happens over the next couple of weeks.
6th Grade Field Trip:
Students kicked things off with Drago the bomb-sniffing canine, the cash room and parting favors of shredded bills at Denver’s Federal Reserve Bank. Afterwards, they swung by the U.S. Mint to talk coins: history, production, economics and a heist attempt!
