5,000 Shot Club Update: We’re at the half-way point of the 5,000 Shot Club. All JH and HS GBB players were challenged to complete 25 sets by Aug. 1, 2026. 🏀 1 Set = • 5 min. ballhandling • 50 freethrows • 150 form + game speed shots Sets can be completed wherever players can find a hoop. AD Room Remodel: For the last couple of years, the old Distance Learning Room next to Pritchett Gym has been used as an Activities Director Office. This summer it is being remodeled. The old platform and DL console were removed. Mr. Krutsinger and Alex are adding in some much-needed storage space.

Old Kitchen ➡️ Mr. Burge's Ag Room Demo work has started in the old kitchen. This area is being remodeled and repurposed for Mr. Burge's Ag Room (+ easy access to Animal Learning Lab), restrooms, storage and a space for Mrs. Lehl to continue her instrument repair work.

Ag Room + Shop Update: Items are being moved to prep for fresh coats of paint in Mrs. Balcom's Room (formerly Mr. Babbitt's Room) as well as the welding area and wood shop. #plainsmenpride

Pressbox Update: ✔️new, reinforced box ✔️additional windows ✔️platform + metal rails The addition of a Hudl Focus camera for streaming/filming, will free up all sorts of space. The metal railing was repurposed from the Pritchett Gym deck. It adds extra safety for those up top.

PCS is proud to announce the addition of the JAG Nebraska program to our curriculum. JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) is a for-credit elective designed to help students overcome challenges and achieve personal and career success after high school. Through project-based learning, mentorship and career exploration, JAG empowers students to build essential life and professional skills. Students in grades 7–12 will have the opportunity to take JAG classes. This initiative, supported by United Way of the Midlands, aligns with our commitment to providing every student with opportunities to thrive academically and personally.
