Mrs. Rowley led students through a special effects makeup unit that ended with students being able to create “wounds” on themselves by using liquid latex and stage blood.
Perkins Co. Schools is partnering with United Way of the Midlands to launch a JAG program (Jobs for America’s Graduates - Nebraska) at the Jr/Sr HS. We are seeking a JAG Career Specialist to join our staff.

Individual Medalist:
Cade Kroeker - 4th Place
As a team, PCS shot 325. Chase Co. was 1st (311), and DCS was 2nd (313). Individually, Zac Anderson from Chase Co. took 1st Place (68).
PCS battled hard at the All-Class State Quiz Bowl Tournament but dropped rounds to Kearney Catholic and Cambridge.

Plant Science:
Mr. Babbitt's students just released 1500 lady bugs into the greenhouse for preventative IPM (Integrated Pest Management) to control aphids and white fly. The cool weather will allow the predators to hunt for a couple of days before escaping into the wild.
