Second grade students raised and released butterflies as part of their insect knowledge unit.

It’s the seniors’ last day of classes. And as the last tests are taken and projects submitted, they’re also turning in books, calculators, laptops and cleaning out their lockers for a final time. Congratulations to the PCS #ClassOf2026!

JH HAL: Tempura & Trains
The JH High Ability Learners spent the day in N. Platte. At The Golden Spike Tower, students learned about the history of the Union Pacific and the world’s largest rail yard. Thank you to Charmaine and the staff for making this trip a great leaning experience. The gift bags were a hit! Afterwards, students stopped at Cody Park and were able sit inside a locomotive.
At Tempura Japanese Restaurant, students went behind-the-scenes to watch their meals being made. After enjoying lunch, they even had the opportunity to make their own sushi rolls to take home. Many thanks to to the staff at Tempura — especially Jay and Francisco — for helping organize this opportunity for our students!
At the JH level, HAL students take monthly field trips to learn about careers, the area around us and try new skills. JH HAL is led by Mrs. Bishop.
