PCS students in grades 4-8 who chose to participate in reading Golden Sower books got to compete against other schools in the ESU. The day was filled with game stations, a quiz competition and an author visit from Rebecca Stead.

The Ag Issues Team from Perkins County #FFA (pictured) is in the Top 5 teams at the FFA State Convention! They will find out their placing and be recognized on stage during session 6 on Friday at 3:00 PM CT. #plainsmenpride
4th Grade Science:
Students are investigating how sound travels. They made instruments and modified the pitch, and researched the terms wavelength, waveform and amplitude. Students used their iPads and @AmplifyScience curriculum for this lab.

Intro to Professional Education:
This dual-credit class, taught by Ms. Baumfalk, is offered though MPCC. Today's guest speaker is Mrs. Bishop, PCS Curriculum Coordinator. Today’s lesson was a follow-ip to students’ unit about curriculum development. Mrs. Bishop addressed standards, textbooks, purchases and the organizational structure of things behind-the-scenes at PCS.

Mrs. Turner and her students took advantage of the beautiful weather during class. Students went outside and competed against each other in a relay-race to practice their spelling words.
