Girls Golf @ Bridgeport (9/25/25):
By sinking the par putt on 18, Gloy captured the gold with a 90! Fisher made a big improvement in her total score and dropped 6 strokes off her back 9. It was the last time these seniors will golf in the shadow of Jailhouse & Courthouse Rock.

4th Grade Science:
Mrs. Cunningham’s students are working together to find ways that systems may fail. They had to make systems that functioned, systems that failed, and then they recorded their findings and identified ways to fix the failed systems.

Members of the PCHS band had the opportunity to attend Colorado State University's Band Day over the weekend. Some highlights included
sectionals with CSU band members and marching in the FB Halftime Performance that included 500 musicians.

❌ The JV FB game at Maywood scheduled for today (9/22/25) has been cancelled. The admin is looking at options for a potential make-up game.
Lexie Fisher and Jacqueline Gloy traveled to Cambridge to participate in a meet at Cross Creek Golf Course on 9/18/25. As an individual, Jacqueline earned 1st place. This week the team will travel to Ogallala (Tuesday) and Bridgeport (Thursday) for meets.

Algebra 1:
Mrs. Lehl's students had a section on the importance of different levels of accuracy in various situations. To apply this, students used pin gauges, dent balls and ground casing mandrels to determine the size of different instrument parts to
0.001”. Their data will be used to fix dented casing threads and sluggish valves, next week. #handsonlearning #realworldmath





4th Grade Field Trip:
Students attended the Ogallala Indian Summer Rendezvous, today. They visited Boot Hill, Mansion on the Hill, a one-room school house, met with mountain men, and learned about the Pony Express.
